Since its founding in 1984, Designed Concepts Associates has developed into a firm which provides a varied and unique mix of products and services. Our businesses include, but are not limited to, residential & contract design, furnishings, wall & floor coverings, window treatments and custom designs. We work with several architectural, engineering & contracting firms in New Jersey and New York to provide a complete and professional full service package of expert design skills for our clients.

Andrea Volter, owner, is classically trained as an Interior Designer and Architectural space planner in all the numerous styles of design. Her designs range from historical renovation of banks to individual homes, estates, condominiums, law firms, and corporate offices. She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and is a member of the American Society of Interior Design and the American Institute of Architects. She also studied architecture and design at the New York Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design in NYC.

Her design philosophy is: "Great design is a collaboration between designer and the client. The designer must see through the eyes of the client and bring forth to the client their style with warmth, elegance and expertise."
